Asian skin is not all about fair , milky looks and small eyes. In the South East Asia where Austronesia people inhabits Brunei, Malaysia, Philipines ,Thailand, Indonesia, or Vietnam , we are mostly lightly brownish or yellowish tanned with dark/black hair .Although the looks may differ due to mix of ethnics . So Timbaktu Skin and Shape ( or I dont know maybe I will give another name) will cater to that tone colours of skin of exotic Asian.

Attempt of Interactive Clothings

Luna is my first attempt of an interactive clothing. Her coat can be detach by someone who you permits/allows to detach.

If that person touch the coat, a menu will pop-up to your screen and will ask you if you allow it. If you do, the coat will disappear.

It is good as Role-playing , I guess. It is up to you . If I role-play with this clothes..well it must be with a guy who is very gentleman to take off my coat when I had arrived at a romantic restaurant for a dinner. Or perhaps later i turn into a vampiress and suck his blood ..he should know by the look of the coat.

 .Secondlife used to be a land where vampire roams everywhere even in infohub to recruit noobs. But i guess lately they are in the low profile side and let the Goreans take over. We human are the rare species in SL..i tell you.

Angel and Leeya

These two are now available in-world at Timbaktu Inc store here . I know the link keep on changing cause I received one IM from a kind lady asking where exactly is my shop. She used several links that I posted here and keep on landing on an empty land. The last one she tped to was the correct sim but underwater (as I had moved the store to the sky). I apologize for all the difficulties  caused. I was looking for the best spot for my small store..I think I will settled at the current spot here unless Lim decided to increase the tiers due to..increase in Malaysian petrol perhaps *nudge Lim*

Anyways, Angel was my old design which I had never tried to sale. But I found it and wear it and add some accesories..then I think..why not sell it. It come with the nice hijab which the texture was made by a Malay guy called Manaf Resident. He is the owner of Little Virtual Asia sim which attached next to my store.It is one of the coolest sim to voice chat and hang out. It got cinema...clubs ,kopitiam,restaurant and of course fashion store. Feel just like in some part of KL,Tokyo or Taiwan there. 

While Leeya is one of my designs for my Fall Winter 2012 Collections..I takes me like whole week just to make Leeya due to my RL commitments and also..I was so preoccupied with playing my bots in Secondlife. I blame Manaf for introducing me to metabolt.

50L Rental at Timbaktu Island

Now I am not trying to be another landlord multimillionaire in Secondlife. Hardly could afford 512 square feet of land but I like to buy decorative stuff..and I dont have lands.So i bought a land to play around with my decorative stuff. Make senses? Pretty silly , I know. So I have this piece of small land and now renting out for 50L. It can be your privacy skybox or commercial little store. I know there are many creative builders or designers in Secondlife out there who could not afford store or shops ( which are actually square boxes with hideous paste on textuyre) for 200L over and end up with prims of like 50 only? It is a bloodsucking bussiness. So what I do is, if anyone of you who would like to try out to place your own marketplace magik box and dont have a land , you can place them at Timbaktu Island with affordable (really low price) rent.



Skybox Type A- Non-furnished with non decorative wall. You can add your own furnitures according to the prims limits



Skybox Type B - Fully furnished- with animated bed and couch. Warm Fireplace and a table. You just move in. I can also provide you with non-decorative wall.



So my small monkey box Island at the moment is like 2 in one . Above above the sky are the sky box and while down below will be the commercial spot. And oh, I dont do traffic booster as it is not my intention to do so.

Secondlife Malaysia Dancer- Cindai

When I known of the existence of Secondlife` Machinima during my noob days . I was and still am fascinated by how creative the resident of Secondlife . I keep on dreaming to have at least a decent video of Malaysian tradition in Secondlife.

After searching for suitable animation , gathering some friends and learn some stuff about recording the computer screen , I FINALLY ...produce a simple video of a Malay Traditional Dance.  It was not exactly a Malay Dance animation. Our folks dance have yet gain its popularity like Japanese or Chinese Dance in Secondlife. I doubt it will ever be created unless there is a person who have the gadgets to create a fine animation of Malay Dance Folk interested in selling it.

So , with Nieve Thor, Natasja Schuman, Kaera Whiteberry and two hawt guys - Adi and Mr.Snow , we danced to a very popular traditional song called Cindai by Dato` Siti Nurhaliza. There are a lot of good selection of folks song but I decided to use Cindai. Cindai is known as a great masterpiece of modern contemporary traditional Malay songs . The lyrics is a beautiful heavy literature which did sparks controversial a few years ago that Cindai is to be said a very "ghostly" song. For example if you start to sing in the middle of the night of its `st lyric "Cindai lah mana...(Which Cindai is it..?)- there will be an answer by a women`s voice "Cindai di sini...(Cindai is here..). Cindai which is also known as a very fine expensive fabric , have a different meaning for a banshee (pontianak)

My Clothes, My Roots

I have a better computer now. A desktop with flat screen and good graphic card. Although I did enjoyed my Secondlife with my old lappy but  Secondlife had never been so beautiful to me by using the new computer. I can enable shadows a little. I can see the glitters of the waters and I can see the aurora of lights which most beautiful sims would have. Everything is filling my screen with wonders of human creations.

Enjoying every moment of exploring secondlife with my daughter in real , I did not leave my passion of creating pixel clothings. In my early days of starting to create clothings, I did intend to bring something ethnically related to my origin as a Malay or Malaysian. I had created a few clothes of ethnic but later stopped. It did not sell very well and I need lindens. So my creation became commercial. And it bored me.

I find that if I create something which I do it because of ..just want to do it, like the hijab for example, the result turn out to be satisfactory . If I made something out of cause I want to sell it, it turn out bad.

Now I am having fun creating some traditional clothes of my ethnic.

I became the Jawas...the cute sand creature from Star Wars. Although I`m not a big fan of Star Wars , I think its kinda cool to have an avatar like the Jawas. So with that avatar , I was traveling from one Star War sim to another...Teleporting from one Tooterinian planet to another..

I need to learn to spit

Yeah! I need to learn to goggle my saliva in my mouth and spit. And say like "Grraarrrr". That would make me think like a men. Wouldn't it?

I mean i have been trying to make male clothing. And it turn out to be almost like a dress. Or it would be looking really Tutti-Fruti.

So Desmond was so noisy about me not making male clothing in my Qisreen facebook *shake fist to Desmond*. I guess it is about time for me to have male collection.

I browsed the latest trend of male summer and I see transparency are so in lately for men. So I asked Fish , would he like a transparent shirt. It might look sexy.

"Eeeek" he IMed me back. " That is soooo gay!"

Right.

Well, I guessed I need to be in my male avatar for one month despite Fish gonna object to that. And start to learn to spit. Ptuih!

Al hamdulilah, praise all to Allah SWT. Despite with a little test of health during Ramadhan , I was blessed with peace and harmony in real. Maybe sickness did washed away your little sins (eg: talking bad behind people without realizing), we Muslim believe that.I don`t know how to describe the feeling but it definitely felt much more lighter..emotionally and physically. Maybe I was worn out with my Real job and did not have a good rest.

Anyway, finally , I found a humble land for my humble main store. I am really not sure how many avatar it can have at one time but traffic is not my main point. I mean, of course I do care if people comes to the store. However , I am not looking for any big event a the main store it self. It might be just some little tea party with friends and loyal customers. Thats all. As you can see, the store itself is very shabby and homey. That is me. How awful it might look to others..I can call it as my Store Sweet Store, lol. Besides it feel good to have your own land (although by renting) and see your store name on top of the land info.

I had the feeling that I will caught flu but I ignored it. My avatar Nova was online all the time while I slept with my daughter. I woke up and saw lots of IM. One of it was from Aouki. Known him almost for 2 years, I could not say that he is a close friends. We were in the Tora Samurai clan together and he was really good at sparring. We seldom IMs . But once in a while when he has a building to do and need opinion he would just IM me and teleport to see his build.

Later, Wallstreet teleported me to the new subways he had build. I did not get any picture cause it was to laggy for me. And Maria is back , yay. After a long vacation I finally met her.

Back to designing , see the velvet orange dress. That dress is the 1st pixel clothings that i really draw fully. Meaning I made the fabric by hand. I did not take from any picture. I am very proud of it. It really turned out to be as soft as I wanted. It was so hard to find a fabric like that in the internet so i finally decided to draw my own fabric. And voila! Not bad huh for a noob? The outfit comes in 2 version. One is with longer skirt and the other is with upper ankle skirt. Oh i love the belt. Satisfied of doing it really. And see the roses at the cloche/hijab ? Arent they sweet? The hijab is a modern kind of hijab inspired by women Malaysia who are so into that kinda hijab.

Since it has the 1920`s look , I tped myself to Old Berlin project sim and look what i got as a gift? An antique car. Good for photoshoot.

Then Mystie IMed for Cypris host meeting. I logged off and logged in as Qisreen ( No it is not complicated- no double personality-:P ) I stay for 1/2 hour and I had to logged off because finally my temprature increased. Phew.

So i have put 3 lucky letter board just for fun cause sometimes I see people like to hang out at the sofa in the store. And I thought it would be nice while they chat and talk at the sofa, and their letters come up! Just for fun I had also posted up a gift to all my subscribers to my group. Just touch the sub-o-matic and look into history if you have not subcribed to my group yet. I send out a dress that I really like designing it.

The lucky letter boards are in Timbaktu Inc Downtown New York city. I did not put any at Malaysia prim due to prim limits. Have fun!

New Design : Ramadhan Outfit

This coming Ramadhan (Holy month of fasting for muslim), I will start to design more on the fashion that I like to do most- modest stylish . Which is me.

Modest style does not only cater for the muslim avatar. Almost 2 years in designing pixel clothes , I had a few loyal clients who came from various background looking for modest and stylish but yet humble looking clothes for their avatars. I have a strict catholic client who says she wanted her avatar to wear what she wears in real. Less revealing clothes. She found my store when searching for the words "modest" in marketplace. I did put the key words "modest " in my market place information for the one which is modest.

And the hijab. I am not surprise to see that many of my clients who purchased the hijabs comes from Gorean RP background. It does not fit the purpose I did the hijab ..lol but it was interesting to know . However , I will try my best to design hijabs that shows the real meaning of wearing hijab and that a muslim lady like me also wears stylish clothings with stylish hijabs. That is what I wear in real now. So I wont be making any Black Burqa with high split to show the legs..lol or Abaya.

So be hold of another stylish muslimah apparel on the grid (as I know Sakinah store also have the same collection.,..her is great!)...;)

Missing Mirage

Making a report to officer Buddyfox Avon of a missing person, my sales girl Mirage SecretSpy. I realized she was no where to be seen lately. She has not been working in the store for a week. She could be in danger. In the hands of a murderer. Serial murderer!! Gosh!

Luckily good looking Sergeant Buddyfox Avon was there. Standing strong ready to protect the sim...while munching some donuts of course. I found out from him that Mirage was seen heading to an office with a guy. What was she doing at the office when her work is waiting for her, I wonder.

New Design : Summer Checkered Top Babe

When a client asked me to do a summer outfit inspired on the Korean Pop Band, I had to browse through their youtube. Honestly , I really like the colors of the clothes in all the videos and I think that is actually the attraction. Fun, vibrant, colourful and of course pastel colors. A friend even say after seeing the design I made, it looks very 50s.
